This is a commissioned oil painting I did this Christmas for Rev. Charlie by Nathan Holmes of Clarion River Organics in Pittsburgh. It is a modern rendition of bible story from Luke 15: 8 - 10, one of Jesus' parables about a woman searching everywhere for a lost silver coin. My model was professor and author Nancy Pfenning.
