Square Dance
This is the last project I did for school. I will take a moment to explain the process and concept.
Process: Each of the four prints has the same plate printed on it four time, each time from a different orientation. Color India ink was then used to turn the different shapes into figures and animals. One of the plates on each print was left uncolored to show the original line work.
Concept: This project was a game. I made a set of rules to abide by to create an order and sense of pattern. While the scribbled etching and making up the forms and figures was the chance of this game.
